Man beaten up for objecting to eve-teasing of minor daughter

A man was today allegedly beaten up when he objected to their eve-teasing of his minor daughter at Nangla Jahanu village in Jewar area, police said.
The man was going to market with his daughter when a shopkeeper and his relative allegedly passed "obscene" remarks and tried to push his daughter inside the shop, they said.
When the man objected, they allegedly beat him up, the police said.
Jewar station house officer Rajpal Singh said a complaint was received and an investigation was underway.
