The incident took place yesterday when an argument broke out between Lakhan Singh and Pooran Singh, which soon snowballed into a fight, they said.
Pooran along with few others allegedly assaulted Lakhan and his family members following which the injured were admitted to a hospital, police said.
An FIR has been filed in this connection against the accused. However, no arrests have been made so far, they said.
