Man beats elder brother to death over property dispute

A 45-year-old tribal man allegedly killed his elder brother over a property dispute at a village in the district, police said today.
The accused, Chandar Raghu Lahange, beat up his brother Sakharam Raghu Lahange (55) to death yesterday at a shanty in Somta village, they said.
The accused was arrested last evening and an offence under section 302 (murder) of IPC was registered against him with the Kasa police.
The body was sent for postmortem to a government hospital at Kasa, police added.
