Man booked for abusing, blackmailing woman

A man has been booked for allegedly sexually exploiting and blackmailing a 41-year-old woman here, police said today.
A case has been registered against Jaman Singh following a complaint by the victim who accused the man of sexually abusing her for the past four years and threatening her with dire consequences, they said.
The accused befriended the victim after she started living separately from her husband, police said, adding that the duo entered into physical relation with the accused filming the act.
Singh threatened the victim to have intercourse with his friends, police said.
When the victim refused to toe the line, Singh told the woman that he would show the footage to her children and also make it public, they said.

No arrests have been made in the case and investigation is on in the matter, police said.
