Man booked for rape

A man has been accused of
repeatedly raping a girl for over a month in Loni district and threatening to harm her and her family if she approached police.
The man has been booked for rape, while case was lodged against him and his five relatives for threatening the girl, station in-charge Brajmohan Yadav said today.
According to report lodged by the girl's family, the victim was repeatedly raped by neighbour Abid for over a month and he used to beat her when she protested.
Police said efforts are on to nab the accused.
