Man booked for raping, assaulting domestic help

A man was today booked for allegedly raping and physically assaulting his domestic help in his house here, police said.
The woman said she came to Faridabad from Jharkhand in 2014 and since then she has been working at the house of accused Sunil, a resident of Vinay Nagar, they said.
In her complaint with the police, she said she was first raped by Sunil after three months of her working at his house. Since then she was raped and beaten by him several times, they said.
The woman also alleged that she once got pregnant but aborted the foetus after Sunil gave her a medicine, police said.
Yesterday again she was allegedly raped by the accused who also thrashed her following which she came to Delhi and informed one of her relatives, who took her to police, sources said.
The woman said she did not approach police initially because she was scared of Sunil, an official said, adding a case has been registered against the accused and probe was on.
