Man commits suicide
suicide due to financial crisis in Pailani area here, police said today.
The body of Kallu Gupta (50) was found hanging from the roof of a house in Gaushala village yesterday, they said.
Kallu's son Pappu said that his father had taken a loan of Rs 65,000 for the marriage of his daughter.
He said that Kallu suffered a paralytic stroke four months back and was under pressure to repay the loan.
Meanwhile, sub-divisional magistrate Girish Chandra Sharma said that Kallu committed suicide due to illness and depression.
