Man commits suicide in Kolkata Metro, services hit

Metro railway services were disrupted partially after a man committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at Chadni Chowk station this evening, railway officials said.
"At 7.22 PM, a man jumped before the Kavi Subhas- bound Down train as it was entering the station. The incident disturbed the train services," Metro Railway officials told PTI.
To and fro truncated services from Maidan to Kavi Subhas and Dum Dum to Girish Park continued while the body was recovered from the tracks, they said, adding, normal services were restored at 7.58 PM.
The police are yet to identify the person.
