Man convicted of killing infant executed in China

A Chinese man, convicted of murdering a two-month-old baby was executed today.
Zhou Xijun, the accused, strangled the baby to death after stealing a vehicle with the infant inside in March this year in Jilin Province.
He was executed in Jilin's capital Changchun after China's Supreme People's Court approved the death penalty, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
