The victim, identified as Banwarilal, 30, was working in a mobile repair shop in the city, they said, adding his friend driving the bike was unhurt in the mishap.
Traffic was also disturbed on the MI Road for about half an hour after the incident and was later cleared after shifting the body to a hospital, they said, adding the driver has escaped.
