Man dies as DMU train hits car at unmanned level crossing

A 32-year-old man died when the Baripada-Rupsa DMU train ran over a car at an unmanned level crossing at Agira in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district today, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Rajkishore Das of Chhuruni village.
Das's car was hit by the DMU train at the unmanned level crossing and he died on the spot, said Betanati sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Dhiren Chandra Nanda.
Nanda said Das's car was also severly damaged in the accident.
