The victim identified as Amit, a resident of village Mewla Maharajpur, was working with Vatika group of companies for over a year.
Yesterday, he along with his colleague had gone to the site when he found out that the motor of the borewell was not functioning.
On trying to rectify the fault, he was electrocuted and died on the spot, police said.
While representatives of the company accused Amit of not taking proper precautions while working, family of the deceased has blamed the employers for not providing precautionary accessories to their staff to prevent any such incident.
Police said a case has been registered at Bhupani police station in Faridabad under section 304A and 34 of the IPC.
The police are investigating the matter, investigating officer ASI Brahmprakash said.
