Man falls to death from terrace following scuffle with wife

A man fell to death from the terrace of his house in Vijay Nagar following a scuffle with his wife, police said today.
Pooja (30) allegedly pushed her husband Amit, with whom she has three children, from the 12 feet high terrace of their house during the scuffle between them, Superintendent of Police (City) Shiv Hari Meena said.
Amit was critically injuried and he was immediately rushed to the district government MMG Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
According to the police, Amit was speaking to someone over phone while taking a stroll on the terrace when Pooja overheard his conversation, which led to an argument between them.

Meena said that no formal complaint has been received at Vijay Nagar Police Station from the family so far.
He said an FIR will be registered under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the accused woman who is absconding since the incident, will be arrested.
