Man gets 10-year imprisonment for abducting, raping minor girl

A man was sentenced to 10 years in jail by a fast track court here for abducting and raping a 15-year-old girl, officials said.
Judge Manoj Kumar also imposed a fine of Rs 18,000 on Mahesh Kumar who was held guilty under sections 363 (kidnapping), 366 (kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel her marriage, etc), and 376 (rape) of the IPC last evening, the prosecution said.
The minor was abducted and raped by Mahesh on May 19 2012 in Khatoli police station area, it said.
