Man gets 7 years in jail for attempting to rape daughter

A local court today sentenced a middle-aged man to seven years' rigorous imprisonment on the charge of attempting to rape his 12-year-old daughter.
According to the police, the accused, a cook by profession, took his daughter to a lodge in Narayanguda area on November 21, 2012 and tried to rape her while in an inebriated condition, according to the police.
