The victim, Yogesh, had gone to District court in Sector-12 Faridabad to purchase stamp papers on Monday and has not returned home since then, they said.
His uncle, Giriraj Sharma, has filed a complaint with Police Station Central Faridabad that his nephew went missing two days back.
The investigating officer ASI Santosh Kumar said that the police has confirmed from all the stamp paper vendors at sector-12 court premises that Yogesh didn't purchase any stamp paper and it is assumed that he never reached the place.
His mobile phone has also been found switched off from the time he went missing, he added.
The family suspects that Yogesh has been kidnapped by some unknown person.
Police have registered a case under section 365 of IPC (kidnapping or abducting) yesterday and have started investigations in the case, said the officer.
