Man hacks wife to death, kills self

A 50-year-old woman was today hacked to death allegedly by her husband, who also killed himself in Kursi village in Sandana area here, police said.
The incident took place this morning when the duo had an altercation over some issue after which Jaikaran (55) allegedly attacked his wife Yashoda with a sharp-edged weapon killing her on the spot, they said.
Later, he also slit his throat and was rushed to the hospital in serious condition and died there during treatment.
Both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
