Yesterday, her husband had told police she was injured by robbers.
Kailash Hospital spokesperson said today that the injured woman Bharti regained some conscious and police recorded her statement.
The woman had over several stab wounds. Luckily, stab wounds were not at vital parts of the body and there was not excessive loss of blood.
"The woman told us that her husband Sharvan, along with two other persons, had stabbed her. After her statement today, we have arrested her husband", said a senior police officer.
Police were interrogating the husband to know the sequence of events and the reason for the assault.
