Man held for alleged murder attempt on his wife

Noida Police today arrested a man for alleged murder attempt on his wife after the injured victim woman regained consciousness and recorded her statement stating her husband had stabbed her along with his friends.
Yesterday, her husband had told police she was injured by robbers.
Kailash Hospital spokesperson said today that the injured woman Bharti regained some conscious and police recorded her statement.
The woman had over several stab wounds. Luckily, stab wounds were not at vital parts of the body and there was not excessive loss of blood.
"The woman told us that her husband Sharvan, along with two other persons, had stabbed her. After her statement today, we have arrested her husband", said a senior police officer.

Yesterday her husband had alleged that his wife was stabbed by robbers and lodged robbery and attempt to murder case against the assailants.
Police were interrogating the husband to know the sequence of events and the reason for the assault.
