The 15-year-old girl was kidnapped from her house in Tulinj locality in Vasai in February.
According to police, the girl was spotted with a man this morning, following which he was arrested.
He has been identified as Hemraj Mehra (26).
Police said a case under section 302 (punishment for murder) and dacoity under IPC has been pending against Mehra with Karad police station in western Maharashtra.
He was also booked by Maharashtra ATS under Arms Act and a case in this regard has been pending with Nagpada police station in Mumbai since 2011, a release said.
