"The matter came into light when the victim girl came inside her house crying. Her grandfather identified the accused and lodged a complaint," SHO Jitendra Singh said.
The accused was identified as Krishna Dutt Sharma and he has been booked under the POCSO Act, he said.
"We have sent the victim for medical examination. Rape is yet not confirmed," Singh said.
