A 60-year-old man was today arrested on the charge of raping his 7-year-old granddaughter in North Garo Hills district, police said.
The incident took place on April 10 when she had gone to her grandfather's house to take her books.
He also allegedly threatened her not to disclose it to anyone.
A case was registered today after the victim revealed the incident to her family members, police said.
