Based on specific information, customs officers of Air Intelligence Unit at RGIA seized 661 grams of gold, 5.2 kg saffron (Iranian origin), 24 IPhone7, 4 Apple iPad Pro, 30 ipod Touch, 2,880 sticks of cigarettes, from the passenger who arrived at the airport here from Dubai yesterday.
"The passenger was passing through the green channel. He was intercepted and interrogated. He has admitted the offence. The total value of the seized gold, electronic gadgets and other items is worth Rs 50 lakh," Banky Behari Agrawal, Principal Commissioner said.
