Man held with 1 kg heroine

A man has been arrested for his alleged role in drug trafficking and one kg heroin worth Rs 1 crore in the international market was seized from him, police said here today.
30-year-old Manoj Kumar was arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police after it received a tip off that he would be coming to deliver a consignment of heroin to a person between 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM near bus stand of Samachar Apartment in Mayur Vihar yesterday.
"A trap was laid and Kumar was apprehended with one kg heroin," ACP (Crime Branch) Ravindra Yadav said.
