Man involved in failed ATM robbery bid found dead

A man wanted in connection with a failed ATM robbery bid was found murdered and his body was recovered from a lodge near here today, police said.
Two persons, suspected to be migrant workers, were involved in the robbery bid at an ATM in Vazhakkala area last week and police had released the CCTV visuals in connection with the case.
Police said the main accused in the ATM robbery bid was arrested today and he told them that the body of his accomplice was lying in the lodge where they were staying.
The man was allegedly stabbed to death and police suspect role of the main accused in the killing.

The arrested man was allegedly in an inebriated state when he made the disclosure, they said.
CCTV visuals of the duo allegedly involving in the robbery attempt in an ATM in Vazhakkala area were released by police.
