Man killed as boulders fall on car, wife injured

A 47-year-old man was killed on the spot and his wife injured when a barrage of rocks hit the car in which they were travelling at a place called 'Midum kham' on Aizawl-Lunglei road today, the police said.
Police said that the barrage of large rocks fell on the car near Sumsuih hamlet killing Lalbiaktluanga of Aizawl instantly inside the car which he was driving.
His wife Lalduhawmi sustained serious injuries, the police said.
The car was severely damaged by the rocks.
