A man was killed by a group of youths after he was "summoned" by a kangaroo court following a family feud in West Bengal's Hoogly district.
52-year-old Sukumar Das was "summoned" to a self-styled village court at Uttar Jagannathpur following a family dispute yesterday.
Suddenly a group of youths attacked the man with sharp weapons and he died on the spot, District's Additional Superintendent of Police Tathagata Basu said today.
While the prime accused have been arrested, three others involved in the crime are still at large.
Search is on to nab them.
