Man killed in scuffle in J-K

A man died allegedly after a scuffle with his relative over a land dispute in north Kashmir's Kupwara district, police said here today.
Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh allegedly fell unconscious during the scuffle with his relative Muneer Sheikh, both residents of Satboni Dardpora village of Kralpora area of the district, over a land dispute, a police spokesman said.
He said Aijaz was shifted to a hospital where he was declared dead.
The body was sent for post-mortem and after completion of all medico-legal formalities, it was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites, the spokesman said.
He said the police have registered a case and started investigation into the death.

Meanwhile, when the body of the deceased reached his native village, some miscreants set ablaze the house of the accused Muneer, the spokesman said.
He said the police have registered another case in this regard.
