A 22-year-old tempo driver allegedly stabbed his father-in-law to death after an argument with his wife, who refused to return back to him, police said today.
The incident took place in Alipur last night and the deceased has been identified as Suraj.
The accused Pramod is on the run.
Pramod had been insisting that his wife Pinki return home but she refused. They got married two years ago but problems had arisen in their relationship following which Pinki returned to her home.
Yesterday, he insisted that Pinki return with him and when she refused, in a fit of rage he allegedly stabbed Suraj.
