Shamsher Yadav was produced before a court today at Mahendergarh, which remanded him to 14-days' judicial custody.
Shamsher's wife Sharmila left Akoda along with her son Anshu, after her husband's imprisonment in a case of attempt to murder and had started living at her parental house at Ushmapur village near Mahendergarh, police said.
Recently, when Shamsher was released from the prison, he returned to his house at Akoda and got his son back from Ushmapur, they said adding, Shamsher was mentally disturbed, which led him to kill his son in the early hours of yesterday.
The accused has been arrested and booked on charges of murder and for trying to destroy evidence of the crime, police added.
