Man kills school teacher over unrequited love

A manager of a private school allegedly strangled to death a 22-year-old woman teacher over unrequited love at Jaunpur village of the district, police said today.
Sardar Ajit Singh was arrested yesterday for murdering the school teacher, SHO Bhopa police station, Promod Panwar said, adding, the woman was strangled to death and her body disposed elsewhere.
The incident surfaced when a 22-year-old girl was found dead in a canal at Morna village of the district.
The partially dressed body of the woman bore strangulation marks around the neck and was later identified as that of the school teacher, the SHO said.

The accused, who was in love with the woman, confessed to killing her when he got to know that she had an affair with another man, police said.
