A man allegedly killed his sister-in-law with an axe here on Wednesday, police said.
Salman and his sister-in-law Simran (38) had a heated argument over a domestic issue, they added.
Salman attacked her with an axe, killing her on the spot, Sadar Police Station In-charge Rishi Raj said.
The deceased's husband was not outside home when the incident took place, he said.
Raj said the victim's husband registered a case against his brother, search for whom is on.
