A tribal man allegedly killed his uncle after a dispute over a piece of land in Jharkhand' West Singhbhum district, police said Friday.

Superintendent of Police Indrajeet Mahata said that the 30-year-old accused, Charan Balmuchu was arrested on Thursday.

He has confessed to hitting his 45-year-old uncle, Behra Balmuchu with a stick from behind on July 15 at Sarjom-Ranglai village under Nagra police station of the district, the SP said.

The body was recovered on Thursday and sent for post- mortem, he said.
