Man kills wife, hangs her body

A 40-year-old woman was strangulated to death allegedly by her husband who also hanged her body from the ceiling of his house to make it look like a case of suicide in Bidupur area of Vaishali district today, the police said.
The incident took place in Mohiuddinagar Dhala village where the body of Gita Devi (40), wife of Devendra Rai, was found.
The motive behind the murder was under investigation, the police said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem.
