A man has been booked for allegedly killing his wife over some dispute in Rajasthan's Sikar district, police said today.
Chanda Goswami was allegedly bludgeoned to death by her husband Shivratan Goswami last evening, Udyog Nagar SHO Rajpal Singh said.
The matter came to light after the family members approached police suspecting foul play, Singh said.
Following this, police personnel broke open the doors of the Goswami's house in Devipura Kothi area and recovered the body of Chanda, he said.
The accused husband has gone absconding and a search to nab him is on, the police official said.
