The body of 27-year-old woman, identified as Baby was found from the canal in Ratenpuri Police Station area on January 21.
Atul Kumar,(27), has confessed to killing his wife suspecting her character, said SHO Virender Kumar.
The couple was living in Roorkee. The accused brought the woman here on January 21 and after killing and throwing her body into the canal, he lodged a missing complaint, the SHO said.
However, during investigation, Kumar was found to be the culprit, he added.
