Man kills wife suspecting illicit relationships

A 29-year old woman who was found dead near her house last month was murdered by her husband who suspected her of having extra marital affairs, police said today.
The accused husband Gangaram was arrested today after his involvement came to light, they said.
Body of Sanjana was found near her house on September 27 in Keshyawala village area after which Gangaram lodged an FIR with Muhana police station and misled police.
During investigation, the husband changed his statements so he was interrogated in detail following which he admitted to have killed Sanjana.
"Gangaram used to suspect his wife of having relations with other men so he decided to kill her. He strangulated his wife on September 26 morning when she was alone in the house, police said.

"He put the body in a box and left it at a nearby place. Later, he returned in the night and informed locals and relatives that his wife was missing," they said.
