Man objects to eve-teasing, shot dead; accused lynched by mob

In a gruesome incident, a 22-year- old man today shot dead a girl's father after he objected to eve-teasing his daughter, and later in retaliation, the youth was lynched by locals at a village here, police said.
The incident took place in Jawali village at Loni.
According to police, the youth Sushil used to tease the girl, a student of class 11, every day.
"Today, when the girl was returning home from school, Sushil accosted her in a nearby street and started teasing her. He followed her to her house.
When the girl's father Satish saw that the boy was eve- teasing her daughter, he got furious and rebuked him, following which Sushil took out a pistol from his pocket and shot at him," a senior police officer said.

Satish was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, locals overpowered Sushil and thrashed him, resulting in his death, police said.
