Man rapes minor girl in MP

A 15-year-old girl was
allegedly raped by a man in Katkoot village of Dewas district who also threatened to kill the victim if she revealed about the incident.
The alleged incident took place on October 7 and a complaint was filed in this regard by the victim yesterday, Kannod Police Station in-charge, M K Suryavanshi told PTI.
The accused identified as Dinesh Korku committed the crime at an agriculture field and later threatened to kill the girl if she disclosed about the incident to anyone.
Later, the girl somehow mustered the courage to narrate her ordeal to her family following which they filed a complaint with Kannod police, he said.

Korku has been taken into custody for interrogation, he said.
A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) has been registered against the accused, police added.
