Vibhor Dubey (30) committed suicide yesterday night at his house at Riviera Town here, said superintendent of police Siddharth Bahuguna.
Dubey, a close relative of Sharma, was alone at home when he hanged himself from the ceiling, the SP said, adding that Dubey was not connected with the Vyapam scam in any way.
Sharma, who was a minister in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government, is one of the accused in the admission and recruitment scam at the MP Professional Examination Board or 'Vyapam'.
