miscreants robbed Rs five lakh from a man in Bundelkhand area in Nawada district, a police officer said.
The incident took place near railway crossing line after Sujaybhan Singh withdrew Rs five lakh from a nationalised bank and kept in the luggage box of his bike, Superintendent of Police Parvez Alam said.
Singh stopped at a shop to buy something when three motorcycle-borne miscreants reached near Singh's bike, broke open the luggage box, snatched a bag containing the cash and sped away.
After Singh raised an alarm, the police arrested two of the three miscreants with Rs 1.71 lakh, Alam said, adding that raids were being carried out to nab the other miscreant.
