Ali Mohammad, father of deceased Mohammad Ahmad, resident of Sohawal tehsil of Faizabad, said his son's body has been kept at the mortuary in Jazan in Saudi Arabia.
Ahmad and another youth Mohammad Danish, resident of Dariyabad tehsil of Barabanki, both in their thirties, were killed on April 22 after their cab collided with a lorry in Jazan, a port city of Saudi Arabia.
According to Ali Mohammad, Danish's body is also kept at the same mortuary.
Faizabad Additional District Magistrate R N Sharma said they will brief the issue to the state home department.
"We are not in receipt of any communication either from the ministry of External Affairs or from the embassy of Saudi Arabia in this matter, however we will send a communique to home department of the state government briefing the incident," he said.
