Additional chief metropolitan magistrate (ACMM) Anupama Bijlani also slapped a fine of Rs 2,000 on him.
A tourist from Jerusalem was molested by the owner of a shop at historic Ghantaghar in Jodhpur on May 19 this year, the woman's counsel Kailash Pancharia said.
"The owner of the shop, Ghanshayma Sindhi, behaved with her indecently and sought sexual favours, upon which she complained to the police," he said.
Police completed investigation and filed the charge-sheet in just 18 hours of the filing of FIR, after which the trial began in the ACMM court.
