Man sentenced to seven years in jail for abducting, raping minor
A fast track court here has sentenced a man to seven years imprisonment for abducting and raping a minor girl in the district six years ago.
Judge Balraj Singh has also imposed a fine of Rs 14,000 on the accused Nitin Kumar after holding him guilty under section 376 of IPC yesterday.
According to the public prosecutor Sita Ram Ayra, the convict Kumar (23) had abducted the girl (17) on July, 2012, and raped her.
