The accused Satyendra allegedly killed his elder sister's 35-year-old husband, who was a property dealer, for having an extra marital affair with his younger sister and his decision to move to a rented accommodation with her when his wife objected, they said.
Satyendra opened fire at his brother-in-law when he was returning home last evening. The property dealer was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said.
The accused claimed he only wanted to teach his brother-in-law a lesson and injure him but the bullet hit at a wrong place and resulted in his death, they said.
