Man shot at by unidentified persons

The man was shot at by unidentified persons near his house in Alipur area here today, with police suspecting that it might be as a result of rivalry between two gangs.
Devender (50) was attacked by unidentified persons near his house. He sustained injuries on his shoulder, stomach and knee, a police official said.
He was taken to Harishchandra hospital from where he was being shifted to Max Hospital, police said.
The attack is suspected to be due to rivalry between Alipur and Tajpur gangs. Devender's son was in jail in a murder case and came out a few months months back, they said.
