One Vasudev Yadav and his members fired at Niranjan Yadav and Shiv Kumar Rai following a dispute over land between them, Sugauli police station in-charge Lalit Vijay Tiwari said.
The duo sustained injuries and were being taken to a hospital during which Niranjan Yadav succumbed to injuries, he said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem and the injured admitted to a hospital for treatment.
An FIR has been lodged against four persons in this connection of which two persons, identified as Vasudev Yadav, a retired armyman and Ajit Yadav have been arrested, he said.
Two weapons - a rifle and a double barrel gun and 43 ammunitions seized from Vasudev Yadav's house, Tiwari said.
