The incident occurred yesterday when Sanjay Chauhan along with his nephew Rahul came on a motorcycle and allegedly opened fire at Bittu Sharma, 25, in Purani Aabadi area, police said today.
He died on the spot.
Bittu had a scuffle with Sanjay in February this. Sanjay had received critical head injury and was hospitalised for several days.
Bittu was under judicial custody and was recently released on bail.
A case against six person- Sanjay Chauhan, Rahul Chauhan, Mohit Chhipa, Vikas, Anil Chauhan and Yashpal Chauhan- was registered.
The main accused Sanjay is the brother of Anil Chauhan and Rahul is Anil's son, he said.
"The accused are being questioned. Efforts are on to nab the other accused named in the FIR," he said.
