The incident took place last evening when the youth, Umaruddin, was returning home after office.
Three persons known to him took him to a desolated spot, where they allegedly stabbed him to death and later one of them called up his family to inform them about the matter, police said.
Umaruddin, whose engagement was scheduled today and his marriage by next month, was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he was declared brought dead.
The police registered a case of murder and arrested the accused, identified as Raja, Gulsher and Anees. It is suspected that the deceased had a personal enmity with Raja and Gulsher, police added.
