Man stabs minor son to death, injures wife, 2 other children

A man allegedly stabbed to death his four-year-old son while injuring wife and two other minor children in Kartar Nagar locality of Khanna town in Punjab, police said today.
The accused, who, police believed, suspected her wife of having an extra marital affair, stabbed his spouse and the children with the sharp-edged weapon.
While the minor, identified as Shivam, died on the spot, wife Surita, son Vikas (3) and daughter Parvati (1) suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said.
The accused is a labourer hailing from Bihar.
Police said a case of murder has been registered against him.
