The incident came to light yesterday after the arrest of accused Kumar Valmik Patil, who took his fiance Meenal Dinesh Jubele (20) to a lodge in Akloli on December 4 an killed her, API G K Mathondkar of Ganeshpuri falling under Bhiwandi taluka here, told PTI.
Jubele's body was recovered a day after from Sangeeta Lodge following which police filed a case of accidental death.
However, her postmortem revealed that she was murdered after which a case of murder was registered and the accused was arrested.
